First Weekend Out

We had a lot of fun with our family and friends this past weekend! It was our first time being out at night—waaay after Kal’s bed time (he’s in bed by 7pm). Our weekdays are usually quiet and low-key. Our weekends are usually filled with family and friends, and we wouldn’t have it any other way.

On Friday night, we were at our church’s annual praise and worship night, Seek Him Out! (SHOut! in short) and it was incredible! The theme for the night is God using the young people/young people serving the Lord, based on 1 Timothy 4:12. We thank God for everyone who attended and praying that each one is encouraged to keep or start serving the Lord. It is so encouraging to be surrounded by our young people, multiple churches and fellow believers praising and worshiping God, especially on a Friday summer night. We’re currently on a break from our church’s Young People Ministry (YPM) leadership because of Kal, but it’s been our prayer that we can come back soon, We love serving the Lord through this ministry and really miss our youth! We’ve Been Busy

Wow. Our last post was in 2016! 2 years and half ago! We have been definitely busy with the wedding, being married, getting pregnant and becoming parents to a now 6-month old baby boy, Kaleb Liam. In between those events, I yearned for my own time with God, but I never really made the time.

Those were many anxious thoughts that consumed me in a matter of seconds. But all it takes for me is to take a deep breath, pray and focus back on Jesus.

In that season of pregnancy and labour, I learned how to be more patient and how comforting it …

This year we tried out a new form of a year end review—we made a video about it!

If you’re wondering why I kept staring off, it’s because this was a bit awkward for me. I’m not used to looking at the camera for a long time. And even if I already wrote down what I want to say, I still looked away to remember or to think about the other things that I wanted to say. I’ll do my best to not stare off again.

I know Lendl would like to do more videos this format, so stay tuned!

We list down the following:

  • Top 5 moments of 2015
  • Top 4 movies that came out in 2015
  • Top 3 achieved goals of 2015
  • Top 2 spiritual/life advice for 2016
  • Top 1 goal for 2016

Share your list with us too by commenting below or posting your own video! May you be founded on the Rock!…
